In 2014, the world’s greatest heroes will join forces. Seriously. There’s Superman, Wonder Woman, Mermaid, Batman, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and some dude named Emmet ... to name a few. Only, they are all yellow, kind of small and, erm, made of plastic. The Lego figures come alive in this computer-animated feature where Emmet must stop a (business) plan in which these mini-figures will no longer exist.
On paper, it sounds like a really bad joke. However, the teaser trailer proves to be quite fun – even eliciting a couple of LOL moments.
Among the voice talents are Chris Pratt (Parks And Recreations), Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks, Alison Brie and Will Arnett. The Lego Movie is scheduled to arrive in Malaysia on Feb 6 next year.
